Your first task
in Sphere Bot.
Set up the workspace once. Give a work companion a clear brief, connect the tools it needs and keep the work in view.
- 01
Choose where to work.
Create an account or sign in, then open the web app or download Sphere Bot for Windows. Both use your Sphere account. Windows also supports a local Docker computer and personal Codex access.
- 02
Set up your models and computer.
In your account dashboard, choose model routing and configure the provider credentials it needs. Sphere supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, Groq, DeepSeek, Mistral, OpenRouter and custom endpoints. A team can supply its own routing defaults. Start your cloud computer in the app; access depends on your account or team.
- 03
Give your first companion a job.
Onboarding introduces three example jobs, asks which everyday tools you use and opens the Create bot screen. Choose a name and character, then describe the work. Your tool choices help with suggestions; install and authorize the required connectors from the app’s Connectors screen. Selecting a preference does not authorize a service.
- 04
Follow the work and review the result.
Send a clear brief with the outcome you want and any useful files. The conversation and computer preview show progress. Answer approval requests, add context or redirect the task. Open the returned files and check the result before using it.
Windows or web?
Use the web app with your cloud computer. Use Windows when you need a local Docker computer or personal Codex. Provider keys and computer access still need to be configured; installing the app alone does not supply them.
Connecting another AI app?
Sphere’s remote MCP server lets another compatible app send work to your existing work companions with your permission. Follow the Sphere Bot MCP guide. Review permissions and revoke access from your account whenever you need to.
